Drop EPUB, MOBI, or PDF books onto a USB-connected Kindle. EPUB converts to AZW3 in the browser, with its cover; nothing is uploaded.
Send to Kindle
Drop books to put them on your Kindle over USB. EPUB becomes AZW3 right here in the browser; nothing is uploaded.
Looking for your Kindle…
What happens to each file
- EPUB
- Converted to AZW3 here, then copied with its cover. EPUB folders from Apple Books work too.
- AZW3 · AZW · MOBI · PRC
- Copied as they are.
- PDF · TXT
- Copied as they are.
- Anything else
- Refused. A Kindle can't open DOCX, KFX, RTF and friends copied over USB.
Good to know
- Works with Kindles that show up as a drive named Kindle. Newer models that never show up as a drive connect over MTP, which browsers can't reach.
- A book with the same name replaces the copy already on the Kindle. Your reading position is kept.
- Sending the same EPUB again reuses its cover instead of piling up thumbnails.
- Writing to the Kindle needs Chrome or Edge. Other browsers get the converted files as downloads.
